Santosh Pillai, D.O.

Dr. Pillai is a board certified psychiatrist by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and holds licenses to practice medicine in both Florida and Michigan. He is proudly serving Central Florida and the surrounding areas. Born in Kerala, India, Dr. Pillai grew up in Warren, Michigan. After attending the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor where he earned his Bachelors's degree in psychology, he earned a Master's degree in Basic Medical Science from Wayne State University. He then attended medical school at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirsksville, Missouri. After medical school, Dr. Pillai's training included rotating medical internship, followed by his residency in psychiatry at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan. During this time Dr. Pillai also completed a fellowship in Psychoanalytic psychotherapy. Since moving to the Orlando area in 2013, Dr. Pillai has been working in outpatient psychiatry. Dr. Pillai's treatment philosophy emphasizes the importance of open communication and working dialogue with his patients. At the core of this approach, Dr. Pillai believes that carefully listening to his patients is essential to providing superior care and collaboratively reaching treatment goals. As such, Dr. Pillai has been successful in treating a broad range of mental health issues and is committed to continue providing patients with the care they deserve.

Noel Figueroa, M.D.

Dr. Figueroa was born in the beautiful Island of Puerto Rico. He attended the University Of Puerto Rico where he earned a Bachelor's degree in biology. He then attended medical school at "Universidad Central Del Caribe" Medical School in Puerto Rico where he graduated and obtained his medical doctor degree. He completed his residency in Psychiatry at North Shore University Hospital-Cornell Medical Center in Manhasset, Long Island. He also did one year of Internal Medicine at St. Vincent Medical Center-Yale University Hospital in Bridgeport Connecticut. Dr. Figueroa came to Florida in 1993 to work as an active duty Psychiatrist of the United States Navy. In 1996 he completed his Naval Service and went into inactive Reserve as a Lieutenant Commander. Dr Figueroa started his full-time private practice and has been an active staff member at local hospitals where he has served as Chief of inpatient psychiatric units and Director of partial hospitalization programs. Dr. Figueroa is Board Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Adult Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry. He is also known as an Expert Medical Advisor for Worker's Compensation in the State of Florida. Dr.Figueroa has over 20 years experience in Worker's Compensation cases. Dr.Figueroa and his wife are proud owners of MindHope of Oviedo a place where patients can find peace and hope.
Patricia O. Schultz, ARNP
As an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Patricia Schultz has been providing psychiatric, mental health care to patients over 28 years, 19 of those years has been in private practice. Patricia is a Sigma Theta Tau honor graduate student from Florida International University, Miami, Florida. Patricia's previous work included Crisis Stabilization, Inpatient care at a Child and Adolescent psychiatric hospital where her role included being the Director of Nursing, and in Outpatient Hospitalization where she was the Program Coordinator for a Woman's, Adolescent, and Dual Diagnosis Program. Patricia will assess, diagnose, and offer individual treatment to clients with psychiatric, mental health disorders. She will listen, educate, and collaborate with her clients. As a Psychiatric ARNP, one of Patricia's goals is to engage her clients in joining in the responsibility for their own health. Patricia's approach encompasses mind, body and spirit. She stresses the need for education, collaboration and commitment for full remission. Patients are invited to understand their treatment options and be involved in the decision making process. Personalized, individual care is to enhance the patient's quality of life and maximize healthy independent functioning. She is passionate about helping her patients achieve their ultimate goal of healthy mental well-being.
